It all begins with tools and materials.

Clay (I used a water based clay (white) but any clay will work)

Ruler or measuring tape

Masking Tape

Paper

Calipers (optional) if you have a ruler or some way of measuring proportions

Tooth picks or bamboo skewers (not shown in photo)

Armature standard (optional) can be made with a piece of wood 8inX8in or scrap wood and a 2 inch nail in center

Some standard clay tools: Wire, loop tools, rake tools, kidney, etc.
